MELIH GECEK Mr. Melih Gecek, a native of Istanbul, is the Information Technology and Management Information Systems Manager at Zenits Associates. Prior to Zenits he had a management position in three Turkish Companies in Istanbul. He graduated from Marmara University in 2003 with a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Education. Mr. Gecek was the principle author of several technical proposals for Zenits two of which were awarded contracts recently by the European Union. He is knowledgeable in Windows and Linux Operating Systems, Network Management and Setup, Third Generation GSM Systems and GPS Systems. He is fluent in English and Turkish. BEHIYE TEYMUR Ms.Behiye Teymur is the information technology and development expert who is also the Webmaster of the Zenits Associates web site. She is proficient in Front Page, Photoshop, Image Ready, Excel and all Windows Applications. She has five years of technical and professional experience in web publishing, web site development, visual design, image and brand development through logo design and other animated and non-animated computer graphics. RIFAT BAROKAS, Ph. D. Dr. Barokas is the senior managing partner in charge of all consulting services at Zenits Associates. He has thirty nine years of international and domestic management consulting experience in fifty-six countries providing and managing services to private and public sector entities in privatization of state enterprises, public sector reform, project finance, agriculture, agribusiness, agro-industry, commodity exchange development, warehouse receipt programs, nutrition, rural health, water supply, sanitation, development and transition economics, investment and trade promotion, small and medium enterprise development and restructuring, sales and marketing management and human resource development, and emergency/disaster planning, management and implementation. ORHAN SAYGIDERGER, Ph.
D. Dr. Saygideger is one of our principal Agricultural Economists. He received his undergraduate degree in Agronomy at Ankara University and his PhD. in Agricultural Economics with minor in Statistics from Iowa State University at Ames, Iowa, USA. He has more than 25 years of professional and academis experience in Turkey and a dozen countries. Most Recently he was in Cape Verde, Azerbaijan, Mozambique and Zambia. |

ARTUG CETIN, Ph. D. Dr. Artug Cetin is also a core staff member of the ZCD and is a specialist in financial analyzing and management. Dr. Cetin has Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral degrees in Finance from Austrian universities and has returned to Turkey last year. He has experience in Austria and Turkey including Financial and Investment Management, Business Administration, Service Sector –Tourism, International Trade and Traesury operations. He has been working as a consultant since his arrival. He has one book and 2 articles published since 2000. |

CONSTANT KABWASA
Mr. Constant Kabwasa has over 24 years of hands-on experience in financial, personnel and administrative management of large scale, multi-country development projects including: accounting, budgeting, auditing procedures and execution, procurement of goods and services, contract negotiation and administration, grants and sub-contracts management and administration, staff and institutional capacity building, and managing and backstopping overseas field offices. Mr Kabwasa is in charge of providing financial and grants management consulting services to clients and supervising cost proposals to international clients. RONALD E. MININGER
Mr. Mininger currently on assignment in Erbil, Iraq for the last 12 months is an Africa and Middle East Specialist with 30 years experience in these regions. He has a Ph. D. (ABD) in African History from Yale University in the United States and resided in Africa most of his professional life. He has twenty-five years experience in Central Africa (DR Congo, Rwanda and Burundi) including work in project management, project representation and liaison, micro-finance, procurement, transport, budgeting and management of equipment and consumables. MICHAEL COLEGROVE, Ph. D. Dr. Michael Colegrove has 40 years of professional experience with international agricultural development programmes in some 65 countries in the private and public sectors. He has set up and monitored, or managed successful companies and projects in the private and public sectors in Europe, former Soviet Union, Africa, Asia, and Latin America. In 1987, Dr. Colegrove formed an independent consulting firm, International Development Services, Ltd. The firm's objective is providing clients with advice on improvement of profitability and efficiency by upgrading production, processing, and marketing methodologies. Other activities include: assisting the private and public sectors in the international agriculture community, appraising agricultural research programs and structuring integrated systems; organizing seed production companies in the private and public sectors, and developing proposals and performance evaluations of agricultural systems. |

MICHAEL ELLIS Mr. Michael Ellis is an international management consultant specialized in organizational and institutional development with 40 years experience in 51 countries including Turkey. He has in depth expertise in human resources management and development, education and training, employment policy development program design implementation and evaluation, change management and business process improvement. Mr. Ellis was the HR and OD Specialist in the Institutional and Sector Modernization Facility Project, Ministry of Finance and State Planning Commission under the same EU funded project implemented by Arcadis and included the participation of Dr. Barokas, the Senior Partner in charge of ZCD. |

DAVID SMITH Mr. David Smith is a Financial and Management Specialist with particular expertise in Auditing, Procurement Regulations and Practice. He has worked in 36 countries in the last 30 years including Turkey. SAFIYE KIRLAR
BAROKAS Professor Dr. Safiye Kirlar Barokas, an assistant professor of advertising, public relations and multimedia at Istanbul Kultur University is in charge of Communications Department at Zenits Associates. She is involved in web design, preparation of brochures, public relations and advertising materials for Zenits and its clients. YUKSEL BALABAN Mr. Balaban is the supervisor for communications in Zenits Associates. He is a graduate of Istanbul University Department of Communications. His expertise in computer includes 3DS Max, Lightwave, Poser, After Effects, Digital Fusion, Combustion, Photoshop, Illusion, Adobe Premiere, 3D Cool, Microsoft Office 2000 (MS Word, Excel). NEVIN BARAN Ms. Nevin Baran is Project Manager of Zenits Associates Consulting Division (ZCD). She is a Management Consultant specialized in international trade with over 10 years experience. She has expertise and three years experience in providing consulting services to small and medium enterprises in Turkey including business development, enterprise management, international sales and marketing, developing and implementing export strategies, and carrying through foreign trade transactions.
